Ryan Sykora is a play-by-play announcer for Phoenix Rising Football Club, Big 12 on ESPN+, and more. He began broadcasting in April 2021 and calls college and professional soccer, college and high school football, college basketball and volleyball, and all sports available for broadcast.

Upon graduation from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Ryan began working at Arizona Sports 98.7 FM and KTAR 92.3 FM as a play-by-play board operator and technical director, while continuing his work with Phoenix Rising FC and Arizona State athletics. He serves as Director of Broadcast Operations and serves as the "Voice of Phoenix Rising" on the Phoenix Rising Radio Network.

In school he served as Station General Manager of Blaze Radio, the student-run radio station at Arizona State University. During his tenure at Blaze Radio, the station was consistently recognized as one of the nation’s top student radio stations and sports departments. In 2025, Blaze Radio won the IBS Award for Best College Radio Station.

Ryan grew up in several parts of the United States, moving four times in the first 14 years of his life before settling in Phoenix, Arizona. He has been involved in athletics his entire life—as a player, coach, referee, and broadcaster. He has been recognized as one of the top up-and-coming collegiate announcers in the country by the Sportscasters Talent Agency of America and the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System.
